Project Description
This project seeks to revive La Madreselva in Argentina by restoring its historic buildings and expanding its capacity to welcome visitors. Once a vibrant retreat, the site has the potential to once again serve as a hub for culture, nature, and community.
The plan includes renovating existing structures to preserve their character while upgrading them for comfort and sustainability. In addition, four new lodges will be built to accommodate at least 20 people.
Through this renewal, La Madreselva will offer a space for retreats, workshops, and cultural exchange, reconnecting people with the natural and cultural heritage of Argentina.
Thesis Statement
"Second Place Called Home", as the name of the project has implied, is a complex that promotes a feeling of home no matter where you are in the world.
